Staying Active during Covid-19

With Fitness clubs closed to flatten Covid-19 my routine changed and found myself going back to old habits of RnR. "Physical activity improves health and well-being. It reduces stress, strengthens the heart and lungs, increases energy levels, helps you maintain and achieve healthy body weight and improves your outlook on life."

When the weather improved it motivated me to focus on my fitness and well-being again. My first work-out was a struggle, which was okay. The investment in a personal trainer (consistency & proper form) provided the tools and knowledge for my fitness success.

Beginners Routine:

  1. Warm-up 10 minutes of stretching or cardio (avoids injury)

  2. 1 set of 14-16 reps (Lunges, Push-Ups, Squats) focus on proper form.

  3. Cool-down 10 minutes walking and stretching.

Always be kind to yourself. Starting is always the hardest part of achieving one's goals.
